You are the sunlight I absorb as I step outside, where fall leaves brush past my hurried feet and wind flusters my hair into wisps of the braid I tied sloppily this morning. You are the cold air that freezes me as I step into snow barefoot, the warmth that envelopes me as I step into a warm home, hidden from the cold of nasty winters and rainy Sundays.
